Quality

Quality and certifications

Our processes are audited by independent bodies, and every part leaves our stock with the document that attests to its condition. The two certificates below can be viewed at any time.

Our certifications

Two certificates, audited and up to date

The first attests to our quality management system, the second to our business as an aviation distributor.

Documentation

The document that comes with the part

Each catalog reference states the release certificate it comes with. You see it before ordering, not on receipt.

  • EASA Form 1 — issued by an approved European organization, alone or with dual FAA approval.
  • FAA Form 8130-3 — the American equivalent, alone or with dual EASA approval.
  • TCCA Form One — the Canadian authority.
  • Equivalent authority — for authorities recognized outside these three.
  • Certificate of conformity — from the manufacturer or the distributor depending on the part’s origin.

Part conditions

What each condition guarantees

Taken from article 13 of our general terms of sale, which prevails.

  • Factory New — new from the factory, with a manufacturer CoC or an FAA or EASA release certificate.
  • New — new, with its original release certificate.
  • New surplus — new, without certification, and whose manufacturing date may be old.
  • Overhauled — fully overhauled to the manufacturer’s specification, delivered with an FAA or EASA release certificate.
  • Serviceable and Repaired — repaired, tested and certified by an approved organization, delivered with an FAA or EASA release certificate.
  • As Removed — as removed from the aircraft, without certification or guarantee of operation.

A specific documentation requirement?

Dual approval, upstream traceability, release certificate format: tell us what your authority expects, and we will tell you before you order whether we can supply it.
